I did it!!

Yep. I did it. I've been putting this off for quite some time now, though I'm not sure why I've been putting it off. Procrastination, I guess:0) (I'm really good at that!)

Oh, I guess I should tell you all what I'm talking about... The Littlest Hero's Project. I've known about this wonderful charity for a while now. When I first found them Vaeh hadn't had her final repair & was on O2. In my mind at that point I didn't want the pictures to have all the tubes, etc. Now I wish we'd done it then. Here's a case of hindsight being 20/20!

So I really decided to do all this around 10:30 last night, & by this morning I had an acceptance email!! So today I've been scouting out photographers on their list & emailing them back! Now its just a matter of hearing back from the actual photographer that we'll be working with! Its really exciting anticipating having another picture on the wall other than the one from the hospital - LoL!!!

Not much else going on around here. Miss Vaeh did fall & hit her eye on something & now looks like she has a streak of eye shadow on!

Oh, the joys of growing up "normal"!
Hope everyone else is doing well! I think we all need to band together & do a sunshine & warmth dance. That is if you live in the mid west!

I hope you have a great session. And yup, boo-boos ARE a part of growing up 'normal'. Hopefully it will be gone before the portrait session!

Hi guys! For some reason I have not been getting your update notifications!!! So sorry I haven't dropped by in awhile. I had some catching up to do on what is going on with Miss Vaeh! It looks like she had a fun Easter...I loved the videos. Hopefully you have been having nice weather. Tomorrow it is supposed to be in the high 70's in northern Illinois....Yipee! Take care!

How exciting! I filled out an application months ago but there are not any photographers locally that do this. :(

Oh the boo's are no fun. Arianna is falling all the time. Her legs are covered in bruises right now.

Hi Tina!

I'm so excited that Vaeh will be having her photo taken! I can't wait to see them! She certainly is a little hero.

I'm sorry about her new "owie!" It's no wonder....I saw her running in her video! :) Watch out furniture, Vaeh is on the move!!! What a blessing to see her do that, too!

It's neat to hear that she and Emma keep doing things at the same time, like going to Sunday school! I'm glad that it's going well for Vaeh, too.

Give that cutie a big hug from us....if you can catch her! :) You guys are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Lots of Love & Heart Hugs,

Wendy (& Emma, too!)

Hi Tina!
Nevaeh is getting so big!
What an amazing organization! I'm so happy to hear you she will be photographed!
When you get a chance would you mind emailing me? I would love for you to explain how it all works. I would love to do that myself for Devin and I'm sure other heart families would love the information passed along as well.
So glad I stopped by and visited. She looks great (even with her bruise) :-)
I hope you are all doing well!!

Thank you for stopping by our site and thanks for the link to this neat program!

It's so true that it's not easy with hectic schedules and tubes to just take a child in for a professional snapshot. I totally get that!

Fortunately there is a program up at our local childrens hospital that provides volunteer photographers. They will come into the home of a sick child and take photos for free! We are still trying to tap into this, but it will be well worth the wait!

Looking fwd to walking alongside your journey with you!

Our pictures are absolutely beautiful! I was so pleased with how they turned out. I have a huge one framed over my fireplace.

Sorry I haven't been signing lately. I can read the blog at work, but I can't sign.

I hope that you are having a terrific weekend!!
