Our climber!

Here we go with another first for Miss V. Since the button is no longer a concern, she's started climbing. Today, she was able to get up onto the couch without any help! I think she's aged (as far as development) about 15 months since May! Take a look at our climbing monkey...

*** Make sure you pause the music & you can hear her say "can't."***

After we took this video, her & Gabby were climbing all over that poor couch! (I say poor couch 'cause the silly thing is nearly 40 years old - no joke!)Its just so much fun to see her doing "normal" things.

On another note, here's a picture of what Vaeh's stoma looks like:

She had broken out in a rash after her cath, but we weren't sure what its from. Jon & I think it had something to do with the stoma dressing they put on, but the tape that we have to put on it keeps it from healing up. Its already closed from what I can tell! They said it may ooze/seep for a few weeks, but she hasn't had any drainage from it so far. So, my guess is that we're well on our way to having one less hole!

YEAH! As soon as I turned on the video of Vaeh, Arianna climbed up on my lap and was all smiles. When you cheered for Vaeh so did Arianna. It was the cutest thing! I'm SUPER proud of you Miss Vaeh!

Her stoma looks great. She could just be allergic to whatever tape they put on her. I know Arianna's face would get like that with certain tape that the nurses would put on her face.

(((Big Hugs)))

Look at her! Its amazing what can be done without all of the "extras" holding you back. Although this means more work for you, isn't it awesome how far she's come!

Boy it looks great other than the rash, You know she might have an allergy to the tape I know Logan is. Every time we go in the hospital he breaks out in this very bad blistery rash from the tape.

OK now it is Logan's turn to get rid of his Tube, J.K. some day though.

Hi Tina,

I loved seeing the video of your big girl! She's just too precious! She and Emma would be so cute together....

I can't believe how quickly her hole closed up! Wow! That's great!

No more tubes for Miss Vaeh...she must love her new freedom, and I'm sure you do, too!

Give that adorable girl a big hug from us! We're so proud of her.

Lots of Love & Prayers,

Wendy (& Emma, too!)
